But we can still fight back in our communities right now.

2025 is a major election year. There are ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND open seats up for election this year across 45 states.

Now I get it — you’re probably tired of being told to just keep voting. 

And Donald Trump may think that we don’t have a Constitution or checks and balances anymore. But news flash — we do.

Governors, mayors, city councils, state representatives, judges, school boards — these positions up AND down the entire ballot in 2025 — are a vital line of defense against the Trump-Musk-Vance Regime.

Wisconsin voters will fill the deciding seat on their state’s Supreme Court. This election will have huge implications for the labor rights and voting rights of every Wisconsinite.

And New Yorkers! If you don’t want a mayor who can be controlled by Trump because of the federal corruption charges hanging over him — well you can choose a new mayor.

The great states of New Jersey and Virginia will elect their next governors — and decide control of their state Houses.

And, even on the federal level, Florida will hold two special elections for the U.S. House of Representatives. New York will hold another later this year. These races could decide which party controls the House!

Off-year elections may not get as much attention as presidential races — and voter turnout often sadly reflects that.

But state and local offices have a huge impact on your day-to-day life. Electing people-powered leaders who believe in democracy and the rule of law will be instrumental in pushing back against Trump and his billionaire cronies’ lawless agenda. 

So register, volunteer, donate, and vote. You DO have a voice. And right now it’s more important than ever to join the fight against fascism in America.
